Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fast Edge Cache™ ("Fast", "we", "us") and our website, dashboard, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Using Fast Edge Cache™
You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. By creating an account, configuring a domain, or using our edge network, you represent that you have the authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you are acting.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Service Description
Fast Edge Cache™ provides a managed edge platform including caching, performance optimization, image processing, and security features such as DDoS mitigation. The specific features available to you depend on your chosen plan (for example, Pro, Business, or Enterprise).
We may modify or improve features over time. When we make changes that materially reduce functionality for a paid plan, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
3. Accounts, Plans, and Billing
You agree to pay the fees associated with the plan you select, as described on our pricing page. Fees are typically charged in advance on a recurring basis. All fees are non‑refundable unless required by law.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and updating it as needed. If we are unable to process payment, we may suspend or limit your access to the Service until the issue is resolved.
For Enterprise plans with custom SLAs and unlimited traffic, additional terms may be set out in a separate written agreement between you and Fast.
4. Fair Use and Traffic Limits
Each plan includes a traffic allowance that is designed for typical, good‑faith usage of the Service. We reserve the right to apply reasonable technical or commercial limits, or to request that you upgrade to a different plan, if your usage materially exceeds what is typical for your plan and impacts the stability or security of the Service.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking any action that materially affects your service.
We reserve the right to contact customers whose traffic patterns significantly impact shared infrastructure.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Fast Edge Cache™ to host or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others, including but not limited to:
- Content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Malware, phishing, or other content intended to harm or deceive users.
- Using the Service to launch attacks (including DDoS) against others.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe, in our reasonable judgment, that your use violates these rules or creates a risk to other customers or our infrastructure.
6. Data and Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the websites, content, and data that you route through Fast Edge Cache™. You grant us a limited, non‑exclusive license to process and cache that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data (for example, overall traffic volumes or cache hit rates) to analyze and improve our Service, provided that such data does not identify you or your end users.
7. Service Availability and SLAs
We aim to provide a highly available service with a global edge network. However, uptime and performance may vary, and the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, network issues, or other factors.
Any specific uptime commitments, credits, or remedies apply only if explicitly described in a separate SLA or Enterprise agreement.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and, if applicable, cancel your subscription from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use creates a security or operational risk.
Upon termination, cached copies of your content will expire over time as part of our normal cache invalidation processes. We recommend updating your DNS records away from Fast Edge Cache™ before or shortly after termination.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or completely secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fast will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to Fast for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice via the dashboard or email.
If you continue using the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
12. Contact & Company Information
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us via our contact page or by email at support@fast.site.
