Integration Guide

Drupal

Speed up your Drupal site with <span class="font-semibold">fast.site</span> in under 5 minutes. No module, no code changes.

Setup Steps

  1. 1

    Add your domain in fast.site

Log in to your fast.site dashboard and add your Drupal domain.

  2. 2

    Confirm your platform

fast.site detects your stack automatically. In your case, that's Drupal. We pre-tune caching, image optimization and edge routing for it. Confirm on the platform step, or pick a different stack if the detection got it wrong. You can change it anytime from the domain overview.

  3. 3

    Update your nameservers

Switch your domain's nameservers to the ones listed in your fast.site dashboard. Your existing DNS records get imported automatically.

  4. 4

    Clear Drupal cache

Run drush cr or clear caches from Configuration → Performance.

  5. Done!

Your Drupal site now runs through fast.site. Anonymous pages and assets serve from the edge, and Drupal's cache tags stay respected.

Drupal-aware caching

fast.site works with Drupal's caching:

  • Authenticated user pages bypass cache
  • Admin and edit pages stay dynamic
  • Form submissions work correctly
  • Anonymous pages and media cached globally

Performance impact

Typical Drupal sites see:

  • 79% faster TTFB (750ms → 160ms)
  • 57% faster LCP (3.5s → 1.5s)
  • • Reduced database queries on cached pages

Tip for multilingual sites

fast.site caches each language variant separately, so your multilingual Drupal site will serve the correct language to each visitor without configuration.
