Troubleshooting Guide

Common issues and how to resolve them.

My site isn't loading through Fast

1. Check your DNS settings

Verify that your domain's DNS records point to the Fast edge servers. Use a tool like dig yourdomain.com to confirm.

2. Wait for DNS propagation

DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate globally, though usually it's much faster.

3. Check origin server

Make sure your origin server is accessible. Try accessing it directly by IP if possible.

Changes aren't showing on my site

If you've made changes to your site but visitors are seeing old content:

  1. Clear your browser cache and try again
  2. Check in an incognito/private window
  3. Purge your Fast cache from the dashboard
  4. Wait a few seconds and refresh

SSL/HTTPS isn't working

Fast automatically provisions and renews SSL certificates for your domain. If HTTPS isn't working:

  1. Verify DNS is correctly pointing to Fast (certificates require valid DNS)
  2. Wait up to 15 minutes for certificate provisioning
  3. Check that your origin server also supports HTTPS

Slow performance despite caching

If your site is still slow:

  1. Verify caching is working by checking response headers
  2. Look for X-Cache: MISS - if everything is a MISS, caching may not be configured correctly
  3. Check if your origin is setting Cache-Control: no-cache headers
  4. Ensure dynamic pages (cart, checkout) are excluded from caching as expected
